YUSSEF DAYES is a tour de force behind the drums. Widely recognized as one of the most electrifying live performers of his generation, the South London-raised producer, composer, and drummer delivers an exhilarating blend of technical prowess, intensity, and raw emotion—leaving audiences in no doubt about the power of rhythm in channeling spiritual energy.

The past year has been a breakthrough for Dayes, propelled into the spotlight by his debut solo studio album, Black Classical Music. The album features collaborations with artists such as Masego, Chronixx, Jamilah Barry, Tom Misch, and more. Since its release, Dayes has won an Ivor Novello Award for Best Album and earned two Brit Award nominations. The record has been celebrated on Best of the Year lists from Spotify, NPR Music, Rough Trade, BBC Radio 6 Music, Boston Globe, PopMatters, AllMusic, Loud and Quiet, Brooklyn Vegan, Treblezine, KCRW, WRTI, Qobuz, and beyond. It has also been featured on Channel 4 News and across 75+ editorial playlists on major streaming platforms.

In recent months, Dayes has sold out the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London and completed sold-out tours across the UK, US, Australia, Asia, and Latin America. His second breathtaking live session, Live From Malibu (released in early 2024), has already amassed over 2.5 million views, following the success of his Live at Joshua Tree EP. Closing out 2023, Yussef became the first-ever solo drummer to headline a viral COLORS show, which garnered over 3.2 million views in just three weeks, alongside a standout performance on BBC’s Later… with Jools Holland.

In summer 2024, Dayes launched his very first curated festival, ‘Summer Dayes,’ in the heart of South East London, his hometown—marking yet another milestone in his ever-evolving career.
